## How income is calculated

Monthly income is derived from the sustainable withdrawal formula:
W = FV × (r − g) / (1 − ((1+g)/(1+r))^n)

Where FV = fund value, r = fund net return, g = inflation (1%), n = years to target age.

Survival probabilities use Monte Carlo simulation with Normal(μ,σ) return distributions and CSO 2015–17 Irish mortality tables.
